It's only just into February and already the Flowering Apricot has been in full bloom for several weeks. We've had an unusually warm beginning to this year. I looked today and the beautiful pink blossoms are starting to drop. Everyone that has seen it has remarked on it's early bloom but it always does this no matter the temperature. That's what I like--a steady nature! {No pun intended.} Except for the earliest jonguils the Apricot is the first color of the year. I think we may be about to get a very cold snap but there's nothing like pink for the promise of Spring!
